Our bishop is the Bishop of London, and our area bishop is Anderson Jeremiah, Bishop of Edmonton. Through them we are part of the Anglican Communion, in fellowship with churches on every continent. That is the affiliation that matters most. The Rector also serves the wider Church as Dean of Growing Younger for the Edmonton Area, helping parishes across this part of London think about children and young people.
Six Anglican churches take part, ours among them, alongside the United Reformed churches at Wood Street and Chesterfield Road, the Methodist churches at Barnet Brookside and Wesley Hall, Underhill Baptist Church and the Roman Catholic church of St Gregory. We share worship with them at certain points in the year, run courses of study together, and work side by side on projects for the community.
Guilds and associations
Our choir is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music. Our tower belongs to the Middlesex County Association and the Hertford County Association of Change Ringers. Our Flower Guild is a member of the Church of England Flower Arrangers' Association. And Monken Hadley Church of England Primary School, beside the Common, is our church school.
