10.30am: Holy Communion
Our main service, every Sunday of the year, is Holy Communion in modern language, with hymns, a choir and the organ. On the third Sunday of the month it is a shorter all-age service, still Holy Communion, shaped so that children can follow it.
Children and babies are very welcome every Sunday. Most weeks, after we have sung and prayed together at the start, the children go out to their own groups, where they explore faith through stories and making things, and they come back before communion. Families with babies should feel free to wander about, or to join the children in their group. There is a baby changing table and a toilet in the vestry, to the left of the organ.
6.30pm: Evening Prayer
Something small and quiet. Evening Prayer is said from the Book of Common Prayer, with a hymn, and on the third Sunday of the month it is Holy Communion according to the Prayer Book. It is a handful of us, it lasts forty minutes, and it is a peaceful way to end the weekend in a medieval church as the light goes. You would be very welcome.
