The "Friends of St Mary's" group
Is an independent organisation of people who wish to support the life of our church. Some are church members, but others are not. However, what all have in common is a desire to see the ancient parish church of Monken Hadley retained in good order for the use of the community.

In an age of frequent church closures, and with the ever mounting costs of maintaining medieval buildings, this group provides all interested parties with a vehicle for showing their support, and helping to maintain our wonderful building.
Members of the Friends are kept up to date with news through their own Newsletter, and are also invited to attend an annual social event at the church. They have priority treatment in other activities and concerts during the year.
