It stands beside the Common, a few minutes' walk from the church, and has done since our congregation founded it in 1832. Its badge carries our tower and the beacon.

It is the smallest primary school in Barnet, with fewer than 150 children aged four to eleven. The church and the school belong to each other. The Rector is a governor, the church appoints most of the governing body, and several members of the congregation help in the classrooms.
The children come to church often, for lessons through the year, for a school service every month, and for Harvest, Christmas and the other festivals. At the end of the summer term we hold a leavers' service and give each child who is leaving a Bible.
